About
Meet your maker...
Your doll maker

Beth Anne Darr was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana. She has recently moved to Indianapolis, but her impact on the Richmond community was mighty. Most recently, she helped get the Richmond Shakespeare Festival off the ground and was an invaluable member of the Richmond Civic Theater for nearly 30 years.
Beth is happily married to T.J. Rivard. They share three grown children and three grandchildren. T.J. and Beth met on the Richmond Civic Theater stage. They have continued to act together over the last 20 years. T.J. is a creative writer and over the years they have supported and encouraged each other in their creative endeavors.
Beth Anne has a uniquely creative spirit; she was born to create beauty. From paintings to ornate headdresses, there is nothing she cannot make. But the real talent and beauty of Beth’s work is in the detail. When you pick up one of Beth’s pieces you will see that every stitch, button, and fabric, is chosen and placed with care. Her keen eye gives each doll an astonishing personality. She began making dolls in 2005 and has since shipped pieces all over the U.S. and England. She operates solely through online sales and primarily makes one-of-a-kind custom pieces.
When she is not in her studio you might find her practicing yoga, reading a great book, or trying something completely different like hula-hooping or aerial silks.
